Getting started
Connect your first ad platform and approve your first decision. First 30 minutes after sign-up.
What you will do
By the end of this guide you will have:
- Connected one ad platform via OAuth
- Seen the Command Centre dashboard with live channel data
- Received and approved your first agent recommendation
You will not need a credit card. The trial is fourteen days and includes the full platform.
Step 1 · Create your workspace
Sign up at aceralabs.com.au/get-started with a work email address. Your workspace is provisioned in the Australian region (AWS ap-southeast-2). Data residency is fixed at sign-up and cannot be changed.
Once you confirm your email, you land on the onboarding wizard. The wizard walks you through connecting your first platform. You can skip it and go straight to Settings if you prefer.
Step 2 · Connect an ad platform
From Settings then Connections, choose your primary ad platform:
- Google Ads for search, display, and YouTube campaigns
- Meta Ads for Facebook and Instagram paid social
These two connectors are fully live. Click Connect, complete the OAuth flow (under two minutes), and Acera Labs pulls your last ninety days of spend, impressions, clicks, and conversions automatically.
Other platforms shown in Connections (TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, The Trade Desk, DV360) are available for data reads now. Write-back capability for those platforms will be confirmed in-product when validated.
Step 3 · Explore the Command Centre
The Command Centre is your main dashboard. It shows:
- KPI strip: total ad spend, blended ROAS, conversions, and CPA across all connected channels
- Channel health table: each connected platform ranked by a 0-100 health score, with pacing status and ROAS
- Optimisation recommendations: specific actions the agents have identified, with expected impact
- Agent activity feed: a log of what each agent did and when
- Segment health panel: customer segment sizes and 7-day trajectory
If you have just connected your first platform, the dashboard shows demo data until the first overnight sync completes. That sync runs between 02:14 and 07:00 in your workspace timezone.
Step 4 · Review and approve a recommendation
The agents surface recommendations in the Command Centre. Each recommendation shows:
- What the issue is (for example: "DV360 ROAS 2.1x vs 4.1x blended")
- What action is proposed (for example: "Shift $8,000 to Google Ads")
- The expected outcome
Review the evidence, then approve. Approval activates the change in the connected ad platform. Every approval is logged in the audit trail and is reversible from the history view.
If no recommendations have appeared yet, the agents may still be running their first cycle. Check back after 07:00 the following morning.
Step 5 · Set up your team
Go to Settings then Team to invite colleagues. Roles are:
- Owner: can change connectors, thresholds, and team membership
- Approver: can review and approve agent recommendations
- Viewer: read-only access to all dashboards
Invite at least one other Approver before you go on leave.
What to set up next
Once you are comfortable with the basic flow:
- Connect your remaining ad platforms via Settings then Connections
- Add Google Analytics 4 for conversion and attribution data
- Run a Marketing Mix Model from the MMM section to understand channel saturation
- Explore the AI Agents page to see what each agent monitors and produces
See Connectors for the full platform list, and Agents for what each agent does overnight.
