We are not looking for a resume that ticks every box. We are looking for someone who has done something real, taken responsibility for it, and learned something from how it went. The domain matters less than the pattern. If you have spent time working at the edge of what was possible and found it energising, that is the signal we care about most.
A written application followed by a conversation. If that conversation goes well, a focused take-home exercise on a real problem from the Acera Labs codebase or product. Then a working session with the founding team. No panel interviews, no culture-fit quizzes, no five-round gauntlets. Three touchpoints. A decision within two weeks of the working session.
Acera Labs is early. The product is real and the customers are real, but we are not a company with a full management layer and a documented process for everything. If you join now, you are joining before the pattern is fully set. That means more ambiguity than a later-stage hire would face, and more opportunity to shape how things work. We will be honest about both sides of that trade-off from the first conversation.
